We hereby have the pleasure to invite you to a Workshop on September 12 on Digitalization and Blockchain – Managerial and Organizational Implications Digital technologies are posing both challenges and opportunities. This workshop addresses the organizational and managerial implications of big data and blockchain in the maritime domain, and how it affects its current and future operations. The first part of the workshop holds presentations from industry and academia representatives, while the latter part holds group work addressing particular issues raised in the presentations. Both parts are open for all workshop attendees. The workshop is funded by MARKOM2020 and is therefore free of charge.

University of South-Eastern Norway (USN) recently signed an agreement with Wilhelmsen Ship Management og classification company DNV GL on development of a Shore Control Center for autonomous vessels. The center will be situated at Wilhelmsen´s offices in Lysaker, Norway.
Welcome to The Applied Autonomy Systems Summit 2018 (AASS 2018). This is the second annual symposium bringing together different academic disciplines and industries to present and discuss the state of the art of applied autonomous systems. Such systems are based on the developments in enabling technologies within robotics, computing, and telecommunications.

Horten lanserer nå en komplett åpen autonom maritim testarena - «Testarena Horten». Her kan bedrifter, studenter og forskere få tilgang til all nødvendig infrastruktur og kunnskap i verdensklasse for å teste ut alt fra sensorer, delsystemer og navigasjonsalgoritmer til farkoster og skip, assistert og praktisk tilrettelagt av Universitetet i Sørøst-Norge i tett samarbeid med ledende norsk industri.
